Your support becomes a young person's future
Canberra PCYC is a registered charity and a Company Limited by Guarantee, governed by an independent board. We partner with government, foundations and local business, and we report our program outcomes publicly every year.

Ways to support our work
Donate or sponsor a program
From the Youth Mobile Training Kitchen to Behind the Wheel, our programs exist because partners invest in them. Program sponsorship attaches your support to a defined piece of work with defined outcomes, so you can see exactly what it achieved.
Support our social enterprises
Our Cruisin' Café and Southside Mower Shed give young people real work experience and qualifications. Both welcome community customers and corporate support — an easy first step for a business that wants to help before committing to more.
Partner as a business
Local businesses support us with services, in-kind contributions, staff volunteering and workplace giving. Where a partnership creates a genuine pathway into employment for a young person, it is worth more than the cheque.
Leave a gift in your will
A bequest supports young people in Canberra long after it is written. If this is something you are considering, a short conversation with our team is the right place to start.
Why funders can move quickly with us
Governance. Canberra PCYC converted from an Incorporated Association to a Company Limited by Guarantee on 25 March 2025, under a new constitution and an independent board. The structure was professionalised deliberately, and it is the structure most funders need to see before they can act.
Financial position. The organisation returned an operating surplus of $21,074 in 2024–25, following a deficit of $426,320 the year before — the result of tighter budget management and stronger fee-for-service performance with schools, justice agencies and community partners.
Reporting. Program outcomes are measured and published annually, and our 2025 Australian Crime and Violence Prevention Awards recognition (Silver for Project 180, Bronze for Solid Ground) was assessed against that evidence.

How can my business or foundation support Canberra PCYC?
Through donations, program sponsorship, or support for our social enterprises. We are a registered charity with independent governance, and we report outcomes against every program — your support is acquitted properly and visibly.
If you would like to understand where a contribution would go before you commit to anything, ask us for the current annual report and a short outline of the programs that need support this year. That conversation costs you nothing and tells you far more than a brochure.
